Fermented and aged puerh tea takes our spiced ashwagandha favorite, Calming Adaptogen, to the next level. You can use any sweetener you like, but we find this to be one place where stevia leaf actually tastes great, adding the perfect amount of sweetness while playing off the intense and rich puerh.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz boiling water
- 1 gram of pu-erh tea (if it comes packed into a cake, make sure so break it into little pieces)
- 1 tsp Moodbeli Calming Adaptogen
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 2 cups water
- pinch of stevia leaf or sweetener of choice
Directions:
Brew a cup of tea (assam or puerh are great choices but any tea will be delicious). Blend hemp seeds with water for a minute or two in a regular blender, then strain through a nut/seed milk bag.
Add hemp milk, freshly brewed tea, Calming Adaptogen, and sweetener to your favorite tonic vessel and whisk gently to combine. Enjoy wakeful calm vibes all day long.
