Nothing says fall potions like a calming ashwagandha root and creamy chai latte. The changing seasons are felt physically in the body. The more we can do to support our endocrine system, the better prepared we will be to fight the impacts of stress during the colder months. This latte can be made with or without caffeine depending on the time of day.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Calming Adaptogen
- 1/2 tsp sweetener (optional)
- tea leaves (we used bio-fermented black Puerh tea)
- 3 oz hot water
- 3 oz plant milk (we used oat milk)
Directions
Brew tea to your desired strength and strain. Add Calming Adaptogen and optional sweetener to the bottom of a large mug, then add hot tea and stir everything together. In a separate cup add your plant milk and froth with a latte frother until a nice head of foam appears. Carefully pour your frothed milk into your mug on top of the tea and Calming Adaptogen layer.
You won't want to put this tonic down. Enjoy!
** For a caffeine free version add the Calming Adaptogen and optional sweetener directly to your plant milk after you have achieved your desired level of frothiness.
