We updated our chocolate mushroom tonic, Mushroom Adaptogen, to include organic reishi mushroom extract in place of chaga mushroom which, sadly, is being over-harvested in the wild.
Luckily, reishi is another extremely storied medicinal mushroom that can be cultivated organically and regeneratively. Even luckier still, reishi powder also tastes amazing when blended with our pillowy-soft organic raw cacao and our organically cultivated cordyceps mushroom.
Get summer started early with this Coconut Mushroom Cacao Tonic.
- 8 oz coconut milk
- 2 teaspoons Moodbeli Mushroom Adaptogen
- 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite sweetener (optional)
Add coconut milk, Mushroom Adaptogen and sweetener to a blender or mason jar with a lid and blend or shake until chocolatey and frothy.
*For a frostier tonic add ice before blending.
*For a rainy day tonic combine ingredients in saucepan over low heat until warmed and serve.
